My name is Cashew and I am a 3-year-old champagne color Chihuahua boy who recently came to live with my forever mom & sibling Chi’s. Before my mom found me, I had a stressful life, but she found my story & picture on Madison County Humane Society’s website in Anderson, IN. The nice people there had taken me in & got me ready for a forever home.
Mom said my dog and kitty friends from the MCHS are very sad because something bad happened there. Someone used a lot of money that was supposed to feed and care for the animals on people stuff for themselves. Now the animals may not have a chance to find their forever homes. If MCHS can’t find enough money they may have to shut down so not only will there be no one to help other homeless animals, my friends who are still there won’t have a chance for a forever family.
I am trying to raise $2,500.00 to help care for my friends for one week. Mom says so far we have almost $400.00. If you haven't had a chance to donate - ANY amount helps no matter how small. Thank you from the bottom of my little doggy heart.
